Job Duties:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervision of an accounting department
  • Manage consolidation at month end and ensure Intercompany Balances are reconciled working closely with the International Controller
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Manage/assist with cash management including managing ACH pulls and timely international wire payments globally
  • Manage various accounting processes (accounts receivable and billing, accounts payable and cash management) to insure a rapid and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial close
  • Manage and review preparation of all balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Review US payroll and act as backup for some HR functions
  • Perform ongoing maintenance to the general ledger, reporting tools and other financial systems
  • Help with coordination and completion of annual audits and reporting requirements
  • Provide guidance and direction to accounting employees to assist them in their professional development
  • Lead projects to enhance the reporting and analytical infrastructure
  • Maintain internal control and safeguards for revenue, costs, and capital expenditures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement change to increase efficiency, streamline workflow and controls, and continually identify opportunities for automation
  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Experience with multi-national, multi-currency consolidations
  • Experience supervising and collaborating with remote employees globally
  • Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment with a willingness to travel when necessary
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • BS degree in Accounting
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding/proficiency of Technical Accounting
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office and Financial ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills – must be able to connect with senior level colleagues
