As Vice President of Engineering & Development, you will help set the direction for products to be created by Globalization Partners by developing and guiding our technical strategy while building and managing our global team to work toward our product goals.

  • Product Planning and Lifecycle
    • Develop the technical strategy with the CTO, and develop and maintain a technical roadmap that will continue to innovate from a technical standpoint
    • Serve as a key member of the management team that sets the company’s strategic direction
    • Work in an interdisciplinary manner with executive and management team members to define future product offerings as well as evaluate technologies for corporate development
    • Coordinate with product management on a roadmap, prioritizing feedback from all system users
    • Ensure implementation and refinement as required of formal process to support the product development process
    • Focus on scaling our platform globally
  • Team Management
    • Build an organization capable of driving product initiatives successfully across the company
    • Review and evolve internal processes for maximum efficiency
    • Establish quality standards and insure consistency in processes across the team
    • Create and report on KPIs
    • Recruit, select, develop, and lead a strong product line team
    • Work actively in product development and lead in the trenches as needed, providing innovative solutions to real engineering problems and serving as an example to staff
    • Ensure the team is aligned and working towards clear goals and objectives

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of industry engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a management position
  • A bold leader, willing to push the envelope and collaborate with stakeholders to bring them along for the ride
  • Ability to manage the development and testing of multiple products based on a core platform
  • “Out of the box thinker” must be key driver contributing to the products roadmap and willing to take innovative product risk while balancing the road map for on time deliverables
  • Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about what you do, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, and transform strategic plans into actionable items
  • Demonstrated success in managing a global team
  • A track record of success building market-leading products
  • Experience with automated regression testing, international software, and working in an AWS environment
  • Highly competent in software design
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
