About the position: 
As a Community Manager, you will be the culture champion for Globalization Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with employees at all levels, across all international offices, to ensure we are enabling our team to fully live out our core values and culture. The ideal candidate will give our employees a consistent experience no matter where they are located and be dedicated to creating an inclusive culture that is focused on transparency, accountability, and fun!

What you’ll do: 

  • Understand Globalization Partners’ business, values, and culture and use them to guide recommendations and decision making
  • Design and develop programs, communications, events, workshops, etc. that creatively and authentically reinforce our core values and culture
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve our team member experience. Assess current programs and propose innovative ways to improve existing ones
  • Plan and organize the company’s internal events and social calendar for local and international offices (off-sites, team building events, in-office events, lunch & learns, volunteering, holiday parties, etc.)
  • Partner with vendors including hotels, restaurants, car service, city tours, etc. to create the ultimate experience for our out of town visitors
  • Accompany out of town guests for airport pickup and drop off, hotel pickup and drop off, and exploring the city, helping them to settle into GP and the great cities where our team members are
  • Distribute and analyze culture/engagement surveys to measure and provide feedback on the organization’s culture
  • Partner with Marketing team on employer branding efforts and internal communications
  • Manage and administer the company’s culture/events budget
  • Manage the office, both the fun stuff and the less fun.  Everything from making sure lunch vendors are chosen with environmentally conscious features to making sure there are nice toiletries in our bathrooms and making sure our dishwasher is run each morning and night

What we’re looking for: 

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities
  • An understanding of hospitality similar to a culture that believes in hospitality all the way to it’s core
  • Someone who can be the soul of a highly international community; who loves people and makes everyone feel welcome; and who also can execute like a boss
  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility at all levels
  • Track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth environment
  • Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude
  • Phenomenal communication skills –written, verbal and non-verbal
  • Enthusiastic, positive, friendly and a great sense of humor
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary
  • 3-5 years’ experience a Culture Ambassador or Community Manager, or a demonstrated commitment to knocking our socks off
