Selene Sahagún represents Employment Counsel for LATAM at Globalization Partners, where she provides legal advice regarding all labor & employment issues in the Latin America Region. Selene has expertise in employment and social security litigation, strategy, and counselling local and international companies doing business in LATAM Countries.
Her experience is focused in outsourcing, labor relations strategy and management, employee terminations, transfers of personnel, due diligence, executive compensation and benefit plans, employment discrimination, social security matters and tax obligations. Prior to joining Globalization Partners, Selene worked for several years in two recognized Law Firms in Mexico City. Selene received her Business Law Certificate from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and her Law Degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO).
Selene is very passionate about philosophy; one of her favorites authors is Ayn Rand, a Russian American writer and philosopher who is well known for her philosophical system called Objectivism. Selene also enjoys cooking, making cocktails and playing video games. Her favorite singer is Mylène Farmer.
