Cahill brings extensive experience in international operations to award-winning Global PEO and Employer of Record.

Boston, MA – April 9, 2018 – Globalization Partners, an organization that helps companies engage a global workforce without establishing subsidiaries overseas, today announced the hiring of Bob Cahill as Chief Financial Officer. Cahill, a results-driven finance executive, has substantial experience scaling rapidly growing companies and will immediately be an integral member of Globalization Partners’ leadership team.

Cahill joins Globalization Partners with 20 years of C-level experience and a proven track record of executing global strategies with experience in all aspects of business management including international operations and human resources. Cahill has directed numerous successful exits, including two IPO’s, and has a strong background in equity and debt financing, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, systems, legal and regulatory.

Cahill served as CFO & Treasurer at Smarterkids.com, where he effectively developed the company into a leading online supplier of educational products and services. He raised over $100M in total funding, grew the staff from 15 to 110 employees, and led the company’s IPO and reverse merger. Following that, Cahill spent 10 years at Cambridge Interactive Development Corp/Everest Poker where he was the CFO & COO from 2001-2004 and CEO from 2004-2011. He was responsible for executing and maintaining an aggressive growth strategy, which ultimately made Everest Poker a leader in the international gaming world. During his time, he increased revenue from $16M to $145M and grew the overall staff from 30 to 275 employees across 10 countries. He successfully led the sale of the company to Mangas Gaming.

In 2011, Cahill founded Warcloud Inc., a mobile/social startup, where he launched 3 cross-platform mobile products before successfully selling to a strategic investor. Following that, in 2015, Cahill joined KaBloom Inc. as the CFO & COO, an opportunity to turn the company around following a PE buyout. During his time, Cahill secured financing and resuscitated the KaBloom brand while developing numerous channel partnerships like Amazon and Target. His most recent stint was serving as the CEO & CFO at Fetch Storage LLC, an early stage tech company focused on disrupting the U.S. self-storage industry. While there, Cahill secured seed financing and successfully facilitated a merger with Livible Inc.

“I am beyond excited to be joining the Globalization Partners team – it’s impressive business model, amazing company culture, and its high regard as an industry leader is hard to ignore,” says Cahill. “When considering the next step in my career, working at a fast-growing company that does international business was a must. This role has an extremely strategic component to it, and I’m looking forward to working with a smart team of go-getters to help get us to the next level.”

Globalization Partners has grown at a rapid rate over the last three years. The company finished No. 33 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies, after finishing at No. 6 the year before. Additionally, Globalization Partners secured the top spot in the Boston Business Journal’s Fast 50 for 2017 as the fastest growing company in Massachusetts.

“We are thrilled that Bob has decided to join Globalization Partners,” says Globalization Partners CEO Nicole Sahin. “He brings a breadth of experience and knowledge of the international business arena that is invaluable. His high energy, hands-on approach will help fuel our continued company growth immensely.”
